God has plans for you. Big ones.

God's plans for your life are so much greater than you can imagine. Whenever you experience trouble, challenges and difficulty — the lemons of life — God's desire isn't just to bring you through it or for you to just survive! His purpose is to reward you by making something GREAT out of what seems hopeless or feels painful. God's promise is so amazing to us! When we get a dose of trouble, when we get lemons in life, God's heart for us isn't to just pay us back. He wants to give us double for our trouble. Maybe you've lost your job or had some really bad financial breaks lately. You can get discouraged and cynical and feel bad for yourself. Or you can trust that God's going to "make some lemonade"; you can stay encouraged and believe that He's preparing a much better job for you even now.

Or it could be you've had a major blow-up in one of your most cherished relationships. You can cast blame, hold on to your pain and refuse to forgive. Or you can choose to forgive, keep loving that person, and believe that through this misunderstanding God is going to take your relationship to a whole new level of trust and enjoyment. Whenever you go through challenges, God's desire isn't to "reimburse" you. He wants to promote you beyond where you were before! I want to encourage you today to continue trusting in the goodness of God. He won't let you down. Continue to put your hope and trust in Him!

Expect to come out BETTER than you were before. Enlarge your vision and allow God to breathe new life into your situation. Stop talking about how big your problems are and start talking about how big your God is! God loves you so much, and I want you to know you've not yet begun to see all that God has prepared for your life. It's so much better than you've ever imagined! The secrete is simple; "JUST BELIEVE IN HIM ALONE!"

Do not be unequally yoked, says the Lord

Part I:
For a Christian, dating a non-Christian is UNWISE, and marrying one is NOT an OPTION. 2 Corinthians 6:14 (KJV) tells us not to be “UNEQUALLY YOKED” with an unbeliever. While this passage does not specifically mention marriage, it definitely has implications for marriage. There is no how an unbeliever will be able to separate his fleshly desires from the spiritual desires. Some people let their feelings and/or fleshly love make decisions for them; they claim that, it is ok to date/marry an unbeliever because at the end of the day, we can win them to God. Well, we need to look at the motives and foundation of a relationship first. Do we date to win someone to God or because there is sexual attraction? What guarantees do we have, that we can win them to God as opposed to them win us to the world? If the primary motive is the former, why then do we claim is what God wants for us? Most of the time we love with the eyes not with the heart. For example, when BMW is advertised, they say, "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder." This is so true because, a lot of people love BMW not because of its performance but because it is well marketed and of cause appeals to the eyes. This we can liken it to a situation were we fall in love with people's appearance but not their spiritual man. satan markets lust as love, and he is good at what he do. This is the reason why, you will find people with multiple partners, or people cheating simply because, they buy into the adverts. They fall in love with the looks not the real person inside those looks. True love, is that which remains when all this rush to pick the beautiful one is over. We should understand that, falling in love with someone's inner man enables us to yoke with people we are spiritually connected with. Jesus promised the Holy Spirit will be our helper, therefore let us adhere to the Holy Spirit and Word of God.

The passage goes on to say that there is no HARMONY between Christ and belial (satan). There can be no spiritual harmony in a marriage/relationship between a Christian and a non-Christian. Paul goes on to remind believers that they are the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, who inhabits their hearts at salvation (2 Corinthians 6:15-17). Because of that, they are to be separate from the world—in the world, BUT NOT OF THE WORLD—and nowhere is that more important than in life’s most intimate relationship—MARRIAGE.

Amen and Amen.

Title : The Living Room: When Your Heart Needs a Father
(by Max Lucado)

"Our Father who is in heaven …” With these words Jesus escorts us into the Great House of God. Shall we follow him? There is so much to see. Every room reveals his heart, every stop will soothe your soul. And no room is as essential as this one we enter first. Walk behind him as he leads us into God’s living room.

Sit in the chair that was made for you and warm your hands by the fire which never fades. Take time to look at the framed photos and find yours. Be sure to pick up the scrapbook and find the story of your life. But please, before any of that, stand at the mantle and study the painting which hangs above it.

Your Father treasures the portrait. He has hung it where all can see.

Stand before it a thousand times and each gaze is as fresh as the first. Let a million look at the canvas and each one will see himself. And each will be right.

Captured in the portrait is a tender scene of a father and a son. Behind them is a great house on a hill. Beneath their feet is a narrow path. Down from the house the father has run. Up the trail the son has trudged. The two have met, here, at the gate.

We can’t see the face of the son; it’s buried in the chest of his father. No, we can’t see his face, but we can see his tattered robe and stringy hair. We can see the mud on the back of his legs, the filth on his shoulders and the empty purse on the ground. At one time the purse was full of money. At one time the boy was full of pride. But that was a dozen taverns ago. Now both the purse and the pride are depleted. The prodigal offers no gift or explanation. All he offers is the smell of pigs and a rehearsed apology: “Father, I have sinned against God and done wrong to you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son” (Luke 15:21).

He feels unworthy of his birthright. “Demote me. Punish me. Take my name off the mailbox and my initials off the family tree. I am willing to give up my place at your table.” The boy is content to be a hired hand. There is only one problem. Though the boy is willing to stop being a son, the father is not willing to stop being a father.

Though we can’t see the boy’s face in the painting, we can’t miss the father’s. Look at the tears glistening on the leathered cheeks, the smile shining through the silver beard. One arm holds the boy up so he won’t fall, the other holds the boy close so he won’t doubt.

“Hurry!” he shouts. “Bring the best clothes and put them on him. Also, put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. And get our fat calf and kill it so we can have a feast and celebrate. My son was dead, but now he is alive again! He was lost but now he is found!” (Luke 15:22–24).

How these words must have stunned the young man, “My son was dead …” He thought he’d lost his place in the home. After all, didn’t he abandon his father? Didn’t he waste his inheritance? The boy assumed he had forfeited his privilege to sonship. The father, however, doesn’t give up that easily. In his mind, his son is still a son. The child may have been out of the house, but he was never out of his father’s heart. He may have left the table, but he never left the family.

...Don’t miss the message here. You may be willing to stop being God’s child. But God is not willing to stop being your Father.

... a FATHER & SON relationship ...is similar to our relationship with our creator...

Be still and know that He is God

"KUALA LUMPUR: The Metro Tabernacle Church in Desa Melawati here was damaged after a group of youths threw flammable materials into the ground floor of the church located in a shoplot.

No one was injured in the incident as the church was empty at that time.

It was believed the incident, which occurred at about 12.30am, happened after a group of youths on motorcycles rode up to the church, smashed the glass panels on the ground floor of the three-storey building and later threw some materials into the building that started a fire. "retrieved from http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2010/1/8/nation/5435794&sec=nation .

I woke up this morning and as usual log into my facebook account and was curious why were there so many of my Christian brothers and sisters stating in their status about some church being burnt and stuffs. At first I thought it happened in another country, later did I realize it happened here, in our once peaceful Malaysia.

Theres nothing more we can do but to pray for one another. I can still remember what uncle soon lim told us when we were in prayer meeting just now, ''The most interesting part after these incidents is what are our reactions as Christians towards this matter?''Where will our stand be? We shouldnt be pointing fingers at one and another but to pray for each other, that our Lord Jesus Christ will change their perceptions and work in them and reminding not only them, but us to accept each other the way we are.

Another thing is that we need to really Appreciate being able to worship freely here in Malaysia, wherelse Christians in other countries are being persecuted. We must not take our Oppurtunity or may I use another word, privillage vainly. We should in fact cherish them, cherish every moment of being able to sit around in a table having bible study together, singing praises together, and to even have fellowship mixing around with one and another sharing jokes and encouraging each other.

I do pray that after experiencing such tragedy, we should be strong and be bold in Christ and therefore pray for one and another.

Matt 5:44
"But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you"

A simple song that I would love to share with everyone.=)

Be still and know that He is God
Be still and know that He is holy
Be still, O restless soul of mine
Bow before the Prince of peace
Let the noise and clamor cease

Be still and know that He is God
Be still and know that He is faithful
Consider all that He has done
Stand in awe and be amazed
And know that He will never change
Be still
Be still and know that He is God
Be still and know He is our Father
Come rest your head upon His breast
Listen to the rhythm of His unfailing heart of love
Beating for His little ones
Calling each of us to come
Be still, Be still

We were given:
Two hands to hold.
Two legs to walk.
Two eyes to see.
Two ears to listen.
But why only one heart?
Because the other was given to someone else.
For us to find
